About this Designer
Currently, Julie is a maker in residence at The Museum of English Rural Life, in Reading, where, previously she had a placement on the Arts Councils' ‘Setting Up Scheme’ (ended Aug 07). Since graduating in 2003 from a Textile Crafts degree Julie has worked at various Galleries, including the Bluecoat Display Centre, Tate and FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology), all in Liverpool; At the same time, Julie ran educational sessions and has focused on developing her work. from Ethereal handmade textile and paper lampshades are fit for a Halloween ball
